The most ideal time to reserve your session is the summer/fall prior to your graduation. For example, if you graduate in May/June 2015, you should complete your session the summer/fall of 2014. I know it feels like its too soon but I promise it is not. Getting your session done early puts you ahead of the game. When March/April arrive, you will have a thousand and ten things on your plate (i.e., prom, school activities, after school job, etc.) Plus the weather is always tricky around that time too.
What does the session fee cover? Does it include any images?
The session fee is paid at the time you book your session and is non-refundable. This fee covers the planning and preparation for the session, the time and talent of the photographer during the session, and the image retouching and processing to prep for your view and order appointment where you will see then select your final images and products.
The session fee does not include any digital or print products, and is a non-refundable fee that is required in order to secure your photo session date on our calendar.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We do offer payment plans up to 6 months. Due to the custom nature of our work, no print products are ordered or digital products released until balance is paid in full. Keep this in mind if you have a timing requirements.
Do you photograph in your studio or on location?
Our goal is to create a truly unique and authentic experience. You have the option of telling your story in the environment that best represents you and your personal brand as a young adult. We can photograph in my studio warehouse environment, on location or perhaps a mixture of both. After your session is reserved, we will schedule a quick connect to plan out all the logistical details.
How many outfits will I get to wear?
You are not limited in the number of outfits but the core objective is to photograph you wearing a minimum of 3 different outfits to give you a nice variety of images. We highly recommend you bring at least 4-5 different outfits so we can best match the outfit to the location/environment. It's also easy to change your look with a hat, jacket, scarf, jewelry, etc. I also encourage you to bring a few props to enhance your experience and help tell your story.
What happens if I need to reschedule my session?
We understand that sometimes unexpected emergencies arise that will prevent you from keeping your original scheduled appointment (such as illness, weather or travel issues, or other emergency situations). If this happens, we ask that you call/email us a minimum of 48 hours prior to the scheduled date in order for us to be able to reschedule.
We are able to provide a one-time reschedule if you notify us a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment. Additional reschedules will require a fee of $150 per occurrence, and are subject to schedule availability. Your session fee is non-refundable, however you may apply it towards your rescheduled date if completed within 6 months of the original date.
Can I bring a friend to my session?
Absolutely. Feel free to bring along someone who will help you feel relaxed and can also help with your outfit changes to ensure everything continues to look good between each outfit change.
When do I get to see my photos?
Allow approximately 2 weeks before you come into the studio for your View & Order session. We will typically schedule your view and order session at the end of your photo session. In the event we don't, you will receive an email link to reserve your appointment online. View & Order sessions typically last about 2 hours.
Where is your studio located?
Our studio street address is 407 Blade Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45216. We are located in an 100 year old warehouse in Elmwood Place, Ohio. It's not the most attractive building and to some it looks abandoned but it has a lot of character on the inside. Trust me, you will be pleasantly surprised. :-)
